➤ will - con pronombres de la segunda y tercera personas singular y plural - you, he, she, it, they.
➤ shall - con los pronombres de las primeras personas, singular y plural - I, we
- Don't worry, I shall be in touch with you.
- Shall I bring you a cup of coffee?
- You will be happy in your new job.
- He will be here on Tuesday.
- She will be married next month.
- It will be a nice day.
- We shall be together in summer.
- We shan't (shall not) except a lower salary.
- Will you be here tomorrow morning?
- They will be exhausted with so much work.
- There will be the end of the world by next year, the astrologer said.
- On Sunday, our son will be coming from the USA.
- I shall not (shan't) except any reduction of my salary.
- We shall only deal with the truth.
- They will be in London by next Christmas.
- You will be a PhD in economics next term.
- We shall always remember the way you helped us.
- You shall obey!
- They shall not be allowed in the premises.
- Come what it may, a marine will never abandon his mate.
- You can count on us, we shall fulfill our part.
- Above anything else, I will be there on the agreed date and time.
- I shall contact you again when I have further information.
Ofrecimientos y deseos
- Would you like a glass of wine? | I will have Scotch whisky, if you don't mind.
- May I help you? | Don't worry, I will manage, thank you.
- Shall I call you tomorrow? | There is no need, I will be coming to see you again.
Utilización de "shall" en preguntas
- It’s getting late. Shall we go home?
- Shall I invite Louisa and Jill to the party?
- Shall I open the door for you?
